Road and lane closures will be in effect this week as the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) does concrete deck replacement work on the Rochambeau Memorial Bridge (I-395).
The southbound left HOV lane and the 14th Street on-ramp will be closed Monday, June 22, through Thursday, June 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday, June 26, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Traffic controls will be in place during the closure to guide motorists through work zones safely.
The I-395 HOV Rehabilitation Project includes physical improvements to the bridge’s deck, travel surfaces, railings and lighting, structural steel, piers and fenders. It will also include approach roadway work on both the Washington, DC and Arlington, Virginia sides, streetlight work and other repairs.
