The 30th edition of The Capitol Hill Community Guide is coming soon to your house!
Your guide is a little bit user manual for living on the Hill, a little bit of a community yearbook.
Open it up and find everything you need to know about life in our urban village –what an ANC is and how RPP works, or how many bags of leaves DC will collect at once. Plus, photos of the great times we’ve celebrated together as a community over the past year! Who do you know in this year’s Guide?
There’s something for everyone, whether you’re new or have lived here for what feels like forever. Just had a kid? We’ve got resources for you. Just bought a house? Oh, you’ll want to read our tips and tricks. You need to learn about permitting and about the historic district!
Check out the local service and retail listings to find out where you can get what you need in the time it takes to walk a few blocks –and support your neighborhood businesses at the same time, keeping Capitol Hill vibrant. Tell them you saw them in this years Guide!
Besides providing key products and services, our local businesses do so much to support the neighborhood. We are so grateful for their support for the paper and for the guide this year.
The Guide will be delivered door-to-door to all houses from the Capitol to the Anacostia River, K Street NE to the Navy Yard and to Southwest townhouses and condos. In addition, real estate offices have them on hand to give to buyers new to the area.
The Fagon Guide to Capitol Hill is published by Capital Community News, publishers of the Hill Rag, annually beginning in 1996. It is named for the paper’s founder, Jean-Keith Fagon.
Guide delivery is underway right now and will continue over the following three weeks.
If you don’t receive your Fagon Guide by June 23, email andrew@hillrag.com or visit a local real estate office to pick one up!
Can’t wait? Check it out online today!
