Due to inclement weather, Mardi Gras celebrations scheduled to take place at the Wharf this weekend have been canceled. The event will now take place on Sunday, Feb. 22.
Next weekend, the event will kick off at 3 p.m. and include a parade with stilt walkers, jugglers, the Mardi Gras king and queen and floats from Wharf neighborhood partners. The parade will also feature special performances and appearances by local sports mascots, bands, youth performers and more.
The celebration will continue from 4:30 to 7 p.m. with fireworks, a dance party and live music.
