About the Festival
The Anacostia Youth Media Festival is the first festival of its kind in Washington, D.C., centered entirely on the work of young storytellers. We believe media is a tool for connection, expression, and social change.
“The Anacostia Youth Media Festival is about celebrating young people’s stories and giving them a platform in their own community and beyond.”
