US Attorney at First District Citizen’s Meeting Tuesday

US Attorney for the District of Columbia (USA DC) Matthew Graves will appear at the next meeting of the First District Police Citizens’ Advisory Council (1D CAC) will take place via Webex from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 2.

Graves will be part of an open community discusson about public safety in 1D communities.

Take the opportunity to discuss safety with Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) representatives. The agenda includes:

• Community Outreach Reports
• Community Safety Walks and Talks
• Crime and Safety Discussion

MPD reminds residents to:

Please be alert for your delivery person, fellow neighbors and personal vehicle(s). They recommend you do not sit idle in a vehicle and you do be aware of who is around you. Your blinking lights are an indication it may be easy to carjack you.

Report theft from auto using the online tool. Please refrain from leaving charge cards or coins in vehicles.

The Private Security Camera Incentive Program rebate of up to $200 per camera.

Remember personal safety – Look up and down, be able to hear what’s around you. Pay attention to your surroundings and use common sense.
