Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) First District are investigating an armed carjacking that happened just southeast of Lincoln Park.
The car was taken on the 1400 block of South Carolina Avenue SE at around 9:20 p.m. August 23. Stolen was a black 2013 BMW with DC Tag BP1579. It has a dent on the right (passenger) side.
The suspects were described as 2 black males aged approximately 17-18 years old. Both were wearing all black clothing, had thin builds and were about 5’6” to 5’9” tall. Police did not describe the weapon.
