Do you have kids aged 14 through 18 looking for something fun to do this summer?
The Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) invites them to join us for the Summer Vibes Teen Ride on Saturday, July 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The ride begins at Lincoln Park with a short session from a Certified Bike Instructor. The instructor will make sure everyone will be able to answer a couple of key questions: What should you check before starting a ride? How can you bike safely on the road with other traffic?

Then, the ride departs Lincoln Park to ride as a group to the Anacostia River Trail. It will be a “no-drop” ride, which means riders stay together and no one will be left behind.

After a water break in Anacostia Park, the group will head back to Lincoln Park for food and drinks supplied by WABA.

At the end of the ride, WABA watnts to hear about your experience! What did you like or dislike throughout the ride? What are your thoughts and visions regarding transportation in DC?

The ride is limited to 25 participants, so don’t wait to register for your spot!

But I’m Not A Cyclist!
You do not need to consider yourself a “cyclist” to participate, but participants should be able to ride a bike for 30 minutes at a time. The total ride length is about 4 and a half miles. If you want to participate and need a bike and/or helmet, WABA can provide one for you! Just please make sure to note that in your registration.
