
Do you have a bunch of paint cans cluttering your home? Do you need paint for a project or craft?
This Saturday, brush it off! Paint Care is offering free paint recycling drop-off and giveaway event for households and businesses happens May 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You must register, because space is limited. Registration is required and closes May 19.
Paint in good condition will be made available to the public for free.
WHAT PRODUCTS & QUANTITIES CAN YOU BRING?
Households may bring any amount of paint, stain, and varnish.
PAINTCARE PRODUCTS
Paint must be in sealed, original container with original manufacturer label. This event is for the following products only:
- House paint and primers (latex or oil-based)
- Stains
- Deck and concrete sealers
- Clear finishes (e.g., varnishes, shellac)
NON-PAINTCARE PRODUCTS
- No leaking, unlabeled or empty containers
- No aerosol spray paints
- No drums or containers larger than 5 gallons
Paint Care cannot accept other hazardous waste or chemicals, such as paint thinner, solvents, motor oil, spackle, glue, adhesive, roofing tar, pesticides or cleaning chemicals.
