Police Seek Vehicle, Suspects in Pennsylvania Avenue Burglary

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) First and Seventh Districts are looking for help finding suspects and a car that were part of two burglaries that happened on Saturday, Feb. 18 in different parts of the District.

At around 4:35 p.m., the suspects forced their way into a business on the 3000 block of Naylor Road SE.  The suspects grabbed stuff, then fled the scene in a vehicle.

At approximately 5:05 a.m. the same day, the suspect forcibly entered a different establishment on the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The suspect took stuff here, then fled the scene.

The suspect was captured by surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos above and in the video up top.

Anyone with information about either case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s Text Tip Line by sending a text message to 50411.
