There’s so much stuff to do where we live, we can’t possibly put it all in one list! But we’ll put some stuff out there for your perusal. Here are some local events coming up this week:

FEB 3 & 10 | MONDAYS & FRIDAYS Blues and Jazz Nights in SW. Blues every Monday; jazz every Friday, 6 to 9 p.m. Jazz–Feb. 3 Greg Lamont Salutes 2023 Jazz Organists Past; Feb. 10, Celebrating Sister Love. $10 cover. FEB 4 | What The Dance Presents Mal Amante —Rosalía Dance Party | Union Stage

FEB 6 | Kaash Page “Me VS Myself” Tour | Union Stage
Kaash Paige consistently asserts herself as an uncompromising, unfiltered, and undeniable voice for 21st century R&B. Page made her international breakthrough with “Love Songs” in 2018; her 2019 debut EP, Parked Car Convos, came in on the Top 15 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers Albums Chart. FEB 9 | The Ultimate DC Pizza Tour | Barracks Row

FEB 9 | Candlelight Concert: Valentine’s Special Feat. “Romeo & Juliet” | Miracle Theatre, 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

FEB. 10 & 11 | Jerry Seinfeld at The Anthem. You know this guy. The one from Friends? He’s back to where he started, on stage doing stand-up shows, two each day –at 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. | $77.50 to $187.50. The Anthem (901 Wharf St. SW). theanthemdc.com. 

FEB. 11 | Cupid’s Undie Run. Feb. 11, noon to 4 p.m. The largest pantless party in the nation, Cupid’s Undie Run, kicks off with drinking and dancing, then they jog it out with a mile(ish) run and end it all with an epic dance party. It’s all to raise money to find a cure for Neurofibromatosis (NF). $35 to register. The run begins and ends at Union Stage (740 Water St. SW). my.cupids.org. 

Do you have a sweet tooth? Come take a stroll down Barracks Row and up to Eastern Market to taste delicious desserts from some of the best restaurants in the city. Starting on Friday, February 10th to 19th get ready to taste delicious desserts showcased at our amazing restaurants and stores. And why not top off the experience with a delicious meal, an exquisite cup of freshly brewed coffee and a glass of local sweet wine? This tour is perfect for kids of all ages! After enjoying a week of sweet treats, Vote on which establishment had the best dessert. Get your sweet tooth ready!

One dessert of choice at participating locations. Passports are $29 each. One passport = one dessert at each participating location. FEB 13 | Secretary Jennifer M. Granholm, U.S. Department of Energy, in Conversation with Veteran Journalist Bill Press
Jennifer M. Granholm, Secretary, US Department of Energy visits Talk of the Hill Feb. 13, 6:30 p.m. at Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, hillcenterdc.org). A former two-time Governor of Michigan, Secretary Granholm is now leading DOE’s work to advance the cutting-edge clean energy technologies that will help America achieve President Biden’s goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 while creating millions of good-paying union clean energy jobs and building an equitable economy.
