Thanksgiving is a week away! What’s that you say? You haven’t planned the menu, done the shopping and scheduled time for preparation and cooking?

Not to worry! The restaurants of Capitol Hill have you covered. You can still order your Thanksgiving Meal for pick-up and know it will be perfect and prepared on time.

Most restaurants want your orders in by Friday, Nov. 18 –a few are taking orders until Monday. Check out each one below!

Or maybe you’ve spent just a *little* too much time staying in with the family this past little while? Then, pop in to a restaurant to dine in and enjoy some time out!

BELGA CAFÉ | home

Chef Bart knows how to take care of food, so let Belga Café (514 Eighth St. SE) handle the meal while you handle the guests!

Thanksgiving offerings include whole roasted chicken or herb crusted turkey breast; purple sweet potato; cornbread waffle stuffing; brussels sprouts; honey-roasted carrots; creamy corn macaroni and three different desserts.

Pre-order before Monday, Nov. 21 online or by calling (202)544-0100. Curbside pick-up is available on Thursday, Nov. 24 from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

BEUCHERT’S SALOON | home

Beuchert’s Chef Andrew Markert has created a full holiday spread for your celebrating at home, “and he won’t even get mad if you take credit for it,” the restaurant says.

Beuchert’s Saloon (623 Pennsylvania Ave. SE) is offering meals for 2, 4 or 6 people. Each comes with roasted turkey breast roulade stuffed with herbs; with sherry thyme grav, cranberry sauce, sausage stuffing, rutabaga mask, brown butter cauliflower and Gram’s rolls (above!).

No deadline is given for ordering, but supplies are limited. Pick up is by appointment Wednesday, Nov. 23.

BIDWELL DC | home & dine-in

Union Market’s Bidwell Restaurant (1309 Fifth St NE) is offering a dine-in Thanksgiving feast filled with classics. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., guests can choose a starter, then enjoy a shareable feast of turkey, stuffing, brussel sprouts, sweet and mashed potatoes for the entire table, finishing off with apple pie. Adults are $65, kids under 12 $30.

But maybe you want to eat at home? You can take Bidwell along –just pre-order your Thanksgiving Dinner to-go. Bidwell offers three different sizes of turkey, choice of soup or salad, and sides including stuffing, potatoes, gravy, brussels sprouts and cranberry sauce. Order by Nov. 18.

BISTRO CACAO | home & dine-in

Dine in at Bistro Cacao (316 Massachussetts) and enjoy a pre-fixe Thanksgiving Menu starting at $55 per person, with seating inside and outside on the winterized patio.

But if you want to celebrate Thanksgiving at home, their to-go meal serves 6-8 people! The feast includes a whole roasted 12-14-pound turkey, foie gras stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy and traditional sides. BISTRO DU JOUR | home & dine-in

The Wharf’s Bistro Du Jour offers a classic American Thanksgiving feast –but you can add a touch of Paris with Bistro du Jour’s all-day French staples.

The restaurant is open from all day Thanksgiving  with breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Dinner, including Thanksgiving a la Carte offerings, is served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

OR pre-order their Thanksgiving Day menu by Nov. 23rd for pick up and delivery. The menu includes starters like the now-famous crudité, Macaron Au Foi. The Thanksgiving Feast includes the classics: turkey, potatoes, beans, stuffing and gravy, and you can get the applie pie. But, if you want –there’s also Steak Au Poivre and Croque Madame. Something for all!

Have you spent too many, well, years at home? Go out and dine-in for Thanksgivng at Cafe Berlin (322 Massachusetts Ave. NE). They’re offering a $65 Thanksgiving Dinner from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 24).

Start with pumpkin soup or potato pancakes. Choice for entrees will include a traditional turkey dinner, but also venison backstrap steak with creamed Savoy cabbage and a port wine jus; chicken fried pheasant; wild boar goulasch with schupfnudeln and Rico’s version of Kalter Hund! Dessert is your choice of a variety of cakes and tarts with coffee. But: space is very limited so reserve now.

CALL YOUR MOTHER DELI | home

Pie! It’s a necessary part of your Holiday Meal, but what’s more finnicky thatn fluting???

You know what to do: Call Your Mother. Call You Mother Deli (CYM, 701 Eighth St. SE) is offering lineup of savory sides and three delightful pies. You can focus on the star of the show –the turkey.

Choices are available for delivery or pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 23 during regular business hours and make sure to get your order in by 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20.

CITY CRUISE THANKSGIVING LUNCH/DINNER | dine-in

Take your turkey to the water with the City Cruises (580 Water Street SW, Pier 4, District Wharf) for a two-hour Thanksgiving lunch cruise, or the two-and-a-half hour dinner cruise. Tickets include a three-course Thanksgiving buffet, unlimited coffee and tea, and views of the monuments from the Potomac River, all with DJ entertainment to keep the mood festive. There is a cash bar.

Arrive at District Wharf’s Pier 4 by 12:30 to board the lunch cruise for a prompt 1:00pm  departure. For dinner, board at 2 p.m. for a 3 p.m. departure. Tickets run $137.90.

THE DUCK & THE PEACH | home

The Duck & The Peach (300 Seventh St. SE) has a $300 feast for four –and yes, it’s turkey (not duck!). Turkey roulade with duck and chicken brioche stuffing, yukon mashed potatoes with gravy, brussels sprouts with candied honey, cranberry bread and harvest salad. You can also add on apple pie or pecan toffee cake and choose from an array of specialty cocktails and the womxn-made wine list.

Order the Feast, Just the Sides, Just the Turkey –or even Just the Gravy.

Orders must be placed by Sunday, Nov. 20.

Lebanese restaurant illi (100 District Sq. SW) will offer Thanksgiving specials from 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Choose a Lebanese treat from the a la carte menu to complement their special Thanksgiving additions including Apple Crumble Pie for two and Heritage Turkey Roulade.

Mediterranean restaurant La Vie is offering an family style Thanksgiving Dinner from 3 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in their dining room that has an amazing waterfront view. The four-course prix fixe menu ($89 per person, $44 kids 7-12, 6 and under, free)  features a choice of entrees. You can choose from salad suoup and tuna tartare to start, then move onto entrees including Brined Roasted Turkey, Truffle Bucatini or Wild Mushroom Risotto with mac and ceese, brussel sprouts, candied yams or whipped potatoes on the side. For dessert? Classics. Your choice of pumpkin or apple pie.

Chef Roberto Santibañez is cooking up some Mexican Thanksgiving menu additions for you to select from, together with the selections you love at Mi Vida. Yes! Kale and ricotta-filled bacon-wrapped turkey breast with corn bread and chipotle cranberry sauce is the Thankgiving we want. The restaurant is open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day for dine-in.

Chef Kevin Tien has created an Asian-American Thanksgiving menu for both dine-in and carryout at Moon Rabbit (801 Wharf St. SW, in the Intercontinental Hotel). Dishes have flavors from Asia, Vietnam, China, and India with touches of Chef Tien’s southern Louisiana upbringing.

Take home dinner costs $250 and serves between 4-6 people and includes a ten pound crown of turkey treated Peking style served with Scallion biscuits and Sichuan honey butter; fried brussel sprouts with nuoc cham; crawfish mac and cheese with truffles; pommes puree with an asian-style black pepper gravy and a whole sweet curry-spiced potato pie with whipped cream and candied cashews.

Orders can be picked up Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 24) between 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
