MPD 1st District Citizen’s Council Meeting Tuesday

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is hosting the September meeting of the 1st District Citizens’ Advisory Council (1DCAC) tonight — Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Much –but not all– of the Hill is located within the bounds of the First District, which runs from the river north to about I Street west of 15th, C Street east of 15th and from RFK to around the Capitol.

The meeting is a community safety briefing and open dialogue for residents and businesses in the MPD Frst District. It will be attended by First District Commander Tasha Bryant and will be an opportunity to also meet newer members of the First District (1D0.
