DC Public Library wants to hear you roar!
Calling on dinosaur fans of all ages!
Share a video of your best impression of your dinosaur of choice in the library’s second annual Dinosaur Roaring Contest!
Do you have a killer pterodactyl shriek, a mean tyrannosaurus growl or a wicked brontosaurus grunt? Record a video of your best dinosaur roar (10 seconds or less) and submit your entry here. The submission deadline is June 30, 2022.
This contest is open to all ages and species. There are categories ranging from toddler through adult, from group submission to pets. Adults are strongly encouraged to compete, too.
The DCPL librarian judges will award trophies and prizes in categories such as vocals, performance, direction, production, originality, costumes, choreography or best incorporation of a DC landmark.
Several entries will be selected for inclusion in the 2022 compilation video which will be available to view on the DC Public Library Youtube page in mid-July.
Entrants will be notified via email in early July. Prizes will be available to collect from your closest participating library.
