Join The Great Ward 6 Clean Up April 2

Two girls pose with the litter they removed from their neighborhood streets during an April, 2018 Capitol Hill Clean Up.

It’s the great Ward 6 Clean Up! Let’s do some spring cleaning here at home.

Join Councilmember Charles Allen (D) and your neighbors to pitch in and clean up your block, alley or a Ward 6 park. Get together with friends and make a team! Start a trash scavenger hunt!

Sign up to list your location, or to join one of the five clean-ups planned at a location near you here. Allen’s team will have trash bags and gloves at the five sites, but the team will be set up at Eastern Market Metro Park on Friday, April 1 (not fooling) to distribute garbage bags and gloves for anyone who needs them ahead of The Great Ward 6 Spring Clean.

All you have to do to get involved is:

  1. Commit to cleaning up your immediate block or alley with neighbors (even fifteen minutes helps!) or
  2. Join one of five locations at a park or recreation center around the Ward to do some trash removal

Show off your pride and hard work using #GreatWard6SpringClean on social media.
