News that may be of interest to those newly come to Ward 8: Councilmember Trayon White Sr. is hosting his annual Tele-Townhall for Ward 8 Seniors. The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 12th at 12 p.m.
Ward 8 residents age 60 years and older and those who care for them are invited to join the town hall to discuss their urgent needs.
During this meeting, we intend to discuss:

- Estate Planning
- Taxes and Insurance
- Food Access
- Home Repairs
- Community Resources
- COVID-19 & Healthcare Resources
“We must continue to find ways to stay connected with our beloved senior community during these unpredictable times,” White’s office wrote in an email to constituents. “This town hall is one of the many steps we take to recognize their voices.”
