DC Council Chair and Mayoral Candidate Forum

The two most powerful elected positions in DC government are up for election in 2022. DC for Democracy invites you to hear from some of the leading candidates at this first candidate debate of the 2022 elections on the same day, Wednesday, Dec. 8. starting at 7p.m.

The event kicks off with a DC Council Chair candidate forum with Phil Mendelson and Erin Palmer: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by Mayoral Candidate Forum with Robert White: 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Both segments of the event will allow for questions from the audience. All incumbents, as well as challengers who have filed to run in the Democratic primary using the Fair Elections (public financing) program were invited to participate.

This event will be moderated by Kimberly Perry, Executive Director of DC Action.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendance is limited to the first 500 participants. You can join the forum by computer, smartphone or landline. Please register to receive the information you need to join by any of these methods.
