Unarmed Carjacking Sunday in Southeast

Police are investigating a carjacking that happened Sunday night.

At around 7:40 p.m. Sept. 19 the victim was approached on the 1300 Block of D Street SE.  The suspect approached by a man who demanded the victim’s car keys. The suspect then fled in the stolen 2015 white Infinity sedan with Virginia tags.

The suspect was described as a black male, wearing all dark clothing.

Robbery at Gunpoint

At around 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19, two suspects approached a person on the 1100 block of Fourth Street SW. Bother were armed with handguns, and demanded the victim’s property. Two suspects are described as black males in their early teens who were dressed in dark clothing and wearing surgical masks. They were last seen fleeing toward Waterfront Metro station.
