Congressional Cemetery is looking for volunteers for two upcoming service days.

On Saturday, September 11 and Saturday, October 16, members of a unit from JBAB (Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling), the Boy Scouts, a college service organization, the Junior League of Washington Done in a Day program and many neighbors will be coming to help Congressional Cemetery finish a few projects.

Cemetery representatives are specifically looking for leaders to supervise these projects. You do not need to be able to lift heavy items or engage in intense physical activity. Duties would include guiding the volunteer group to their project area; instructing the group on the method to complete the project; and, supervising and answering any questions that may arise.
