Take the opportunity to say hi to your councilmember as he takes his office hours live –and outdoors!
Councilmember Charles Allen will hold his community office hours on Wednesday, June 30, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Eastern Market Metro Park (EMMP). Office hours are the time Councilmember Allen sets aside to be sure he can meet with Ward 6 constituents directly.
The new EMMP park is located between Seventh and Eighth Streets SE, surrounding the entrance to the Eastern Market Metro Station and across Pennsylvania Avenue between Eighth and Ninth Streets SE.
Look for the big blue tent — Allen’s team will set up a big blue tent near the playground and splash park in the northeastern corner of the park (where Ninth Street meets South Carolina Avenue SE).
This event will be outdoors. All Ward 6 residents are welcome to attend. If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask.
