If you love your local park, come lend a hand!

Friends of Lincoln Park has partnered with the National Park Service for an Earth Day event on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m..

The group is looking for volunteers to help do some clean-up of the park, in particular trash and debris that has collected along the curbs and edges of the park.

National Park Service (NPS) has sent supplies such as gloves, bags, shovels, rakes and brooms for the project. They will pick up the trash bags once the clean up is over.
