Pocket Change looks a little different this year, which means Pitches n’ Pizza does too!

The Southwest Business Improvement District (SWBID) and the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly (SWNA) created the Pocket Change micro-grant competition in 2018 to advance ideas that would better the Southwest community.

Join SWBID and SWNA at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23 to hear a virtual presentation of the top Pocket Change applicants. Then, you can vote for your favorite pitch. RSVP by clicking here.

And since the event has gone virtual, get hooked up with a discount when you order in from select Southwest restaurants Masala Art (1101 Fourth St. SW), Momo Chicken (1001 Fourth St. SW) and Station 4 (also (1101 Fourth St. SW). Use code POCKETCHANGE when you order.

Hear pitches from finalists:

  • Southwest Community Jam
  • Literacy and Law Enforcement Book Fair
  • Virtual Community Engagement (SWDCCC)
  • Southwest Sports on the Truck

Donations are being collected at the “door” that will go directly to the winner in addition to the $1,000 grant. If you are able, please donate $5. https://www.mightycause.com/story/Pocket-Change
