Grab the last of the sweet golden summer this Saturday from Capitol Hill Beekeeper Del Voss and his fellow minder-of-beeswax Jan Day of Second Story Honey. Del and Jan will hold their Fall Honey Sale Saturday, Sept 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 11th and C Streets NE.

The honey comes from 4 different DC neighborhoods —Lincoln Park, Stanton Park, Congressional Cemetery, Shaw and Deanwood.  Each honey has a distinctive flavor representative of the flowers and trees in that neighborhood on which the local bees dined.  This delicious honey was harvested only weeks ago!

Day also makes beautiful beeswax candles you can pick up to light up the precious remaining summer nights.

If you would like to learn about Beekeeping and the importance of pollinators on Capitol Hill, or just say Hi, stop by and visit Del Saturday! You can also call or text him at 202-677-0959 to get your jar!🍯 Honey costs $1.25 per ounce, cash or Venmo

Wear your mask and remember to help everyone practice social distancing at the sale.
