The Palm Collective, in collaboration with 65+ local and national organizations, influencers and networks, will come together to showcase the power of collective action. As a DC collective, the group has agreed on four core demands for immediate action on the part of Mayor Muriel Bowser and the DC Council.

The collective says the demands are focused on urgent, tangible change that are intended to transform the community today and transform society for future generations, and include:

  1. Police-Free DC Schools
  2. End Qualified Immunity
  3. Establish A New DC Public Safety Department
  4. Make Election Days A DC Holiday
