DC Libraries Take-out Service Available

Take-out service is now available at DC Libraries on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and fron3 to 7 p.m.

During Phase 2, which began on May 29, there will be controlled access to ensure that no more than 50 people per 1,000 square feet will gather in a publicly-accessible space within the library and no more than 50 percent capacity is reached in a publicly-accessible space within the library with social distancing.

Open Libraries:
Starting June 29: Anacostia, Benning, Cleveland Park, Mt. Pleasant, Northeast, Shepherd Park, West End and Woodridge

Starting July 13: Anacostia, Benning, Cleveland Park, Mount Pleasant, Northeast, Shepherd Park, West End, Woodridge, Bellevue, Capitol View, Francis-Gregory, Petworth, Shaw and Tenley-Friendship

The following libraries will offer returns only (no in-branch services) starting July 6: Bellevue, Capitol View, Francis-Gregory, Petworth, Shaw and Tenley-Friendship.

The locations will be closed from 2:30 to 3 p.m. every day for sanitizing. Return items, pick up holds, browse the window collections, check out items and remote print at any of the eight locations. Search the catalog and place holds online at dclibrary.org.
