The annual Ward 6 Budget Town Hall has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 4, at 7:30 p.m.. Due to the public health emergency, the event will be held virtually via Facebook Live.

Before the Council votes on the budget, Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen (D) will summarize the Mayor’s proposed budget for Ward 6.

It’s your opportunity to share your priorities on funding schools, parks, public safety, streets, sidewalks, bike lanes, and so much more.

Allen will provide a quick overview of what’s been proposed and where DC Council will be in the process at that time, sharing some of his own priorities. Allen has said he is focused in the budget debate, and what comes next in budget decisions.

Then it will be time to hear what is important to neighbors. The Town Hall is also a great opportunity to ask budget questions and share priorities before DC Council casts their votes.

If you’re not able to log on that night but want to share your priorities or questions, you can leave budget feedback online for Charles Allen and his team.
