Police, Citizen Advisory Council Teleconference May 6

The next meeting of the First District Police Citizens’ Advisory Council (1D CAC) is going virtual at 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 6.

Take the opportuny to discuss safety and security with First District Commander Morgan Kane and Director of METRO Office of Emergency Management Ronald Bodmer to discuss bus and Metro Station safety.  Representatives from the US Attorney’s Office and Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA )will also be available to take questions.

In adition to an overview of Metro safety and operations, attendees at the meeting will get updates on First District crime stats and safety tips as well as on the operational status of MPD during COVID-19. Assistnat US Attorney DOuglas Klein will appear for a question and answer session about the activities of the US Attorney’s Office DC. A representative from CSOSA will provide a brief on the agency’s response to COVID-19 for those under court supervision.
