A Socially-Distanced Visit From the Easter Bunny

Easter Bunny Plans Easter Sunday Walk in Hill East

Many kids have missed a visit from the Easter Bunny this year, as we all keep our distance apart. But this Easter Sunday, we can all get together to do the Bunny Wave!

Starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 12, the Easter Bunny will take a hop around the Hill East neighborhood. Come out to your front yard, porch or stoop to wave at him as he goes by.

For the past several years, the 13th Street Community Park & Garden has hosted a neighborhood egg hunt, along with a visit from the Easter Bunny. This year, the community can’t gather around the bunny at the garden. So the Easter Bunny is going to the people – making socially-distanced visits on Easter Sunday!

He’ll begin at 13th and C Streets SE at 11 a.m., heading east along C Street before turning south onto 17th Street and heading west along D Street back to 13th and C Streets SE.

The Bunny has sent ahead a route map (above) so you can see where the Bunny will be hopping by. Give him a wave (but stay more than 6 feet away from others when you do it)!
