Due to the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency, the March 17th business meeting for Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 6D has been cancelled.
That meeting had already been delayed from the originally scheduled March 9 date due to unavoidable conflicts.
DC Council is currently preparing emergency legislation that is expected to be considered on Tuesday, Mar. 17. In addition to creating provisions for local businesses and affected workers, the legislation is expected to provide ANCs with more flexibility for holding meetings in an alternative format.
DC Government has switched to telework for non-essential services. The DC Zoning Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustment have suspended all hearings and meetings until further notice, meaning that pressure is reduced on ANCs to consider those cases.
DC residents can stay up-to-date on the latest Covid-19 guidance from the Mayor’s office at https://coronavirus.dc.gov/.
As always, you may communicate with your ANC Commissioner by e-mail. Visit ANC6D.org for a list of contacts.
