DC Public Library (DCPL) has hired the design/build team of Whiting-Turner Construction/Quinn Evans Architects for the $23 million transformation of the historic Southeast Neighborhood Library, and they are looking for your feedback.
There will be many opportunities throughout the design process for community input, including two upcoming meetings:
- Drop in on the DCPL Open House on Saturday, Feb. 8, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the North Hall of Eastern Market (225 Seventh St. SE)
- Come to the Community Meeting on Tuesday, March 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the North Hall of Eastern Market (225 Seventh St. SE)
The team has also have established an online survey and suggestion box to get input from the community about the programs and services you want to see in a modernized library.
