Winter is coming to The Yards.
Ice Yards, the signature event of the winter season is coming back to Yards Park (355 Water St. SE) for its sixth year, starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1
Grab some friends and head for the Yards Park boardwalk for the District’s only adult-friendly winter extravaganza. It’s an afternoon experience filled with unlimited frozen fun.
Returning bigger and better than ever will be icy cocktails and local DC brews across multiple bar stations in addition to the event’s signature interactive ice activities, including:

Ice Yards is pleased to partner with the annual Polar Plunge Fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics DC. The Polar Plunge supports over 1,800 DC-based athletes who receive year-round sports training and opportunities to compete in the Special Olympics DC Games. An above-ground swimming pool will be erected on the boardwalk, and participants will “take the plunge” to the cheers of the Ice Yards crowd.
Ice Yards is a 21 and over event. Tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite for $10 and include one drink upon entry.
