How can we ensure that schools are spaces of belonging and inclusivity for all kids in DC?

On Thursday, Jan. 23 at Van Ness Elementary School (1150 Fifth St. SE) join parents, teachers, school leaders, community members and elected officials in the Ward 6 community to start off the New Year by discussing this important question together.

There will be a panel discussion with students, parents, and educators, as well as the opportunity to discuss ideas in small groups and share them with elected officials, including Councilmember Charles Allen (Ward 6) and DC State Board of Education Representative Jessica Sutter (Ward 6).

Space is very limited so please RSVP at the Event Brite page.

Light dinner and childcare (for kids aged 3 and above) will be provided. If you need childcare, please RSVP online for a ticket with childcare.

The event is hosted by Education Forward DC.
