Little Lights Seeks Volunteers for 2020 Programs

Little Lights is an award-winning nonprofit serving public housing children, youth, and families at Potomac Gardens and Hopkins Apartments in Ward 6 as well as Benning Terrace in Ward 7.  The urban ministry will celebrate 25 years of service in 2020.
Little Lights provides life-giving service relationships to underserved children, youth, and families living in these three public housing communities in DC .  The families served typically have an average annual household income of $12,000 to $15,000.  
Little Lights provides holistic support through academic assistance and tutoring, youth development, programs for adults, and economic empowerment including the Clean Green Team landscaping social enterprise that serves Capitol Hill.  
Fulfill your resolution for community service in 2020 and make a difference where you live. They are looking for volunteers from the neighborhood for winter and spring programs.
