Despite the “competition” from Hilloween and a World Series game, there was still a great turnout for the annual Family Fitness Night. Maury families cane together for an intergenerational evening of fun, health education and fitness activities: hula hooping, Double-Dutch jump rope with DC Retro Jumpers and soccer skills practice with DC Way Soccer. Other guests and presenters included Power Tots gymnastics and tumbling, Playworks games, DC Vault pole vaulting, Tippi Toes Dance, Breathing Space Yoga, Elliot-Hine MS archery and Zumba with Ms. Veree. Kudos to Ms. Falls, the physical education instructor, for organizing this event.
