Registration Open for 2020 Visitor Parking Passes

3229

Registration is now open for the 2020 Visitor Parking Pass (VPP) program.

The program is designed to allow guests of District residents to park for more than two hours on Residential Permit Parking or RPP-zoned blocks. Passes are white cards that hang from rear-view mirrors and can be given to any guest to place in their vehicle throughout the term that the pass is valid.

A VPP is only valid during the hours of RPP enforcement and in the same RPP zone and ANC boundary as the residence. The passes are not necessary on holidays or other times when parking restrictions are not subject to enforcement.

In Ward 6, all residents that live on residential RPP blocks are eligible to receive a VPP. Applicant must posses a Driver’s License or Non-Driver Identification Card issued by the DC Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to apply.

Residents who live on a commercial zone block and non-residential addresses are not eligible for VPP or RPP.

Approved VPPs are mailed every Friday via first class mail.

You can apply for your VPP by visiting the DDOT online VPP application site. Learn more about the Visitor Parking Permit Program by visiting ddot.dc.gov/page/visitor-parking-pass-program
