Ward 6 Democrats will hold a Salon with At-Large Councilmember Elissa Silverman (I) on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Mr. Henry’s 601 Pennsylvania Ave., SE.
This is an opportunity for attendees to discuss a broad range of issues with her.
Silverman is a Ward 6 resident and owns a home in NE. Her career, first as a journalist and the on the D.C. Council, has focused on making local government more accountable, responsive, and accessible.
As an At-Large member, Silverman serves as Chairperson on the Committee on Labor and Workforce Development, and as a member of the committees on Government Operations, Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization, and the Committee of the Whole.
