Commissioners from ANC 6B listen to a presentation from Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (DC-D) at the June 11 meeting of the full commission. The Oct 8 monthly meeting has been rescheduled to Oct 15.
ANC6B’s monthly meeting for October, previously scheduled for October 8th, has been rescheduled for October 15th. The time and location remain the same; the meeting will take place in Drummond Hall (1st Floor, one level up from Ninth Street entrance) at 7 p.m. at the Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Ave SE).
The date change was made to avoid a conflict with observance of Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, which begins this year at sundown on October 8th.
unless noted otherwise:
The Planning and Zoning Committee will hear relevant cases (many involving Historic Preservation Applications or the Board of Zoning) at the meeting of that committee on October 1 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Coletta of Greater Washington (1901 Independence Ave SE).
Cases assigned to the Transportation Committee (including issues of public space, public transportation and roadways) will be heard first at the meeting of that committee on October 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, Ground Floor, The Yard (700 Pennsylvania Ave SE).
Cases assigned to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Committee (issues related to liquor sales and consumption) will be heard first at the meeting of that committee on October 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Ave SE).
