Police have arrested a man accused in two armed robberies on the Hill, officers announced Thursday.

A 49-year-old Southeast resident was arrested in connection with a robbery that happened Wednesday, July 10 on the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The man is accused of going into the business, pulling a knife and taking cash from the register before fleeing.

He is also accused of robbing the 7-Eleven at 429 Eighth St. SE, where wielding a knife, he also robbed the cash register.

The man has been charges with two counts of Armed Robbery of an Establishment.

At 4:07 p.m. Thursday, a man was arrested on the 1400 block of K Street SE on charges of Robbery.

At 7:59 a.m. Thursday, a man was arrested on the 1900 block of E Street SE on charges of First Degree Sexual Abuse.
