After a successful ice cream social and summer kick-off with JD Land photographer Jacqueline Dupree, the Capitol Riverfront community BID is doing it again!
The Riverfront Community summer meetup series continues with a behind-the-scenes tour of the neighborhood, featuring fun facts along the way about its history and growth from knowledgeable BID staff, and ending with happy hour at the rooftop of local favorite All-Purpose Pizzeria overlooking the Anacostia River.
This exclusive tour kicks off at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27 at the rooftop of Homewood Suites (50 M St. SE), then continues through subareas of the neighborhood and ends at the rooftop of All-Purpose Pizzeria with drinks and snacks provided by the Capitol Riverfront BID.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are $10. All proceeds will be donated to local river advocacy organization Anacostia Riverkeeper. Tickets include two drinks and a variety of appetizers at All-Purpose Pizzeria. Visit https://caprivtour.eventbrite.com for more info and to register.
