It’s almost Third Thursday, and you’re invited to the party on the C Street Plaza!
Hosted by Eastern Market Main Street (EMMS), Third Thursdays connects people to place through community-building activities focused on showcasing the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood. Running May through September 2019, Third Thursdays will focus on the many ways people move through space.
During the June 20 event, EMMS will highlight walking with activities ranging from free historic walking tours with DC By Foot, a giveaway from the City Walker App, temporary walkshed signage, and storytime with the Southeast Library.
Play Giant Jenga or checkers, join in the scavenger hunt, or relax and listen to live music from the DC Strings Workshop. There are also events with local businesses, such as games night at Labyrinth Games and Puzzles (645 Pennsylvania Ave. SE) and a soiree at French boutique Paris Bleu (321 Seventh St. SE, Second Fl.) –and much, more more.
