Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) First District Detectives are investigating a Robbery involving a gun that happened Monday morning.
At around 2 a.m. a man was walking on the 500 block of 11th Street SE when was approached by five males. One pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The man turned over his book bag containing cash, a cellular phone and clothing items.
All five subjects then fled northbound on 11th Street in a dark colored vehicle. The complainant was not injured during the incident.
The look out given is for five black males of medium height, all wearing dark clothing. The vehicle they drove may have had an exceptionally loud-running muffler or engine.
