Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 6A is working to identify additional locations where Capitol Bikeshare stations would be desirable and feasible. To that end, the Transportation and Public Space Committee is soliciting recommendations from the public.
Suggestions must be within or near to the boundaries of ANC 6A. The rough boundaries of the commission are Florida Avenue and Benning Road NE to the North, Eighth Street NE to the west, East Capitol Street through Lincoln Park to the south, and east along 19th Street NE with a loop along C Street NE around the Skate Park at RFK Stadium.
To make a proposal, send an email to anc6a@yahoo.com with ‘BikeShare’ in the subject line. The committee asks that those offering suggestions be as specific as possible, listing precise locations, e.g. ‘North side of East Capitol Street NE, in front of Eastern High School, near 18th St’.
