Join the team at Hoffman-Madison Waterfront, Mayor Muriel Bowser, Deputy Mayor Brian Kenner and Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen (D) as they usher in the next phase of the District’s Wharf with a community celebration and family fun day.
Enjoy live music from Pebble 2 Pearl, family friendly activities and a “truck touch” for kids featuring trucks and construction equipment from DC and the Wharf site.
Work has already begun to prepare Phase 2 for construction. The second phase of the development will consist of 1.25 million square feet of office, residential, retail and recreational space, bringing the total square footage of The Wharf up to 3.25 million. Construction is expected to be complete in 2022.
