Maury Elementary invites the Capitol Hill community to attend their free Think Tank and STEM Expo on Thursday, March 28, 6-8 p.m.
Enjoy science fun for the entire family, including lectures about animal habitats and birds with the U.S. Forest Service and the Department of Energy and Environment. View the moon and stars through telescopes provided by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
Use night vision equipment with the Army Communications, Electronics Research Development, and Engineering Center or taste astronaut food with NASA employees, including former NASA Administrator and Retired US Marine Corps General Bolden.
Other exhibitors include D.C. Beekeepers, NOAA, Labyrinth Puzzles and Games, George Washington University’s Biology Department and STEM campus group, Living Classrooms, the District Architecture Center, and the Eliot-Hine Rocketry Club.
The event will take place at Maury Village, the school’s temporary location, at 1840 Constitution Ave. NE. The expo is free and open to all.
