The Near SE/SW Community Benefits Coordinating Council (CBCC) will hold its annual meeting at Audi Field from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 5 in the Heineken MVP Lounge at Audi Field (100 Potomac Ave. SW).  The room is at field level, accessed through the Premium Entrance located on the East side of the stadium between R and S Streets SW.

At the February meeting of ANC 6D, CBCC Vice-Chair Rikki Kramer reminded attendees that the community benefits agreement negotiated with DC United prior to the construction of Audi Stadium included opportunities for local non-profits to raise money through concessions. Interested organizations can staff existing stands or operate freestanding carts at eight games at the stadium, taking home a percentage of total sales that can amount to as much as $1000. The CBCC brings together organizations and individuals living or working ANC 6D to ensure that redevelopment sustains neighborhood diversity and improves residents’ quality of life. CBCC participates in negotiating ANC 6D community-benefits agreements and is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. Learn more about CBCC by visiting http://www.seswcbcc.org/
