12th Street CVS Robbed Friday Night


At about 9:45 p.m. Friday night, MPD was called to the CVS at 500 12th Street SE for reports of a robbery. Units found that a male subject dressed in all black with hood and gloves came into the store withed a handgun. He not only took the register drawer, but also stole two purses from two customers before running out the store.

There were no injuries.

The lookout was issued for a black male, medium build, about 5’ 2” in a black face mask and wearing all black clothing. Police say there may have been a dark colored SUV involved or leaving the area at a high rate of speed.

The 12th Street CVS was also victim of armed robbery on Oct. 12 of last year.
