Incumbent Councilmember Charles Allen (D-Ward 6) and Republican challenger Michael Bekesha will state their positions on a host of issues at the Friday night Ward 6 Council Debate.
The discussion will be moderated by Capital Community News Managing Editor Andrew Lightman. The event is sponsored by the Hill Rag, Ward 6 Democrats, Hill Center, and the DC GOP. Hosts include the Capitol Hill Restoration Society (CHRS), Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce (CHAMPS), Parents Amplifying Voices in Education (PAVE) and the Capitol Hill Public School Parent Organization (CHPSPO).
The debate between candidates for Ward 6 Councilmember will take place 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at the Hill Center (921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE).
