Capital City Symphony Performs ‘Trouble In Tahiti’ Sunday

The performance of 'Trouble In Tahiti' features world-renowned opera singers Delores Ziegler and Kevin Short, esteemed members of the vocal faculty at the University of Maryland.

Capital City Symphony opens its 51st season Sunday with an all-Bernstein program in honor of the Leonard Bernstein Centennial. 

This special vocal program includes the charming Arias and Barcarolles song cycle, and a semi-staged presentation of the one-act opera Trouble in Tahiti – the only work for which Bernstein wrote the words as well as the music –  and features world-renowned opera singers Delores Ziegler and Kevin Short, esteemed members of the vocal faculty at the University of Maryland.
