Enjoying live music, tasty local food and spirits while you mingle with friends and neighbors, play yard games, and bid on a fantastic array of silent auction prizes sounds like a pretty great Saturday. At Sip & Savor, held Saturday, September 8 these fabulous activities will also support Capitol Hill Group Ministries (CHGM) services to our homeless and at-risk neighbors.
Sip and Savor is a celebration of local food, craft beer, wine, cider, spirits, and music in support of CHGM. Join us for unlimited food samples and beverage tastings from many of the Capitol Hill area’s best restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
Capitol Hill Group Ministry (CHGM) is a non-sectarian 501(c)(3) organization that provides services to homeless and vulnerable individuals and families on Capitol Hill and across the District of Columbia. Proceeds from Sip & Savor support CHGM services such as Shirley’s Place Day Hospitality Center, Street Outreach to chronically homeless people, and the Permanent Supportive Housing Programs for Families.
