Fulcrum Works With Others to Clean Streets, Gather Supplies

It’s time for a litter bit of a workout! Reach down to your toes and get the trash up off Capitol Hill Streets with the Capitol Hill Neighborhood Clean-up crew.

Stop by Fulcrum Properties Group or any other sponsoring Capitol Hill business listed below on the first Saturday of every month to collect supplies between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Afterward, join the team for coffee, donuts, and mimosas at Fulcrum Properties (1328 G St SE) starting at 10:30 a.m.

The monthly community cleanups are sponsored by Frager’s Hardware and Sundance Contracting, in addition to the businesses listed above.

Trash bags and gloves are provided. Volunteers can show up at any site unannounced, but RSVPs are appreciated  to ensure all sites are covered. Tell your friends and neighbors! Or simply bring them along.

Fulcrum Properties is also sponsoring a school supply drive to benefit the Teachers Community Lounge Inc.

Students are in need of supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, crayons, pencils and folders. Teachers need things like staplers, copy paper, chart paper and electric pencil sharpeners.

From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday August 4, drop off school supplies at Fulcrum Properties (1328 G Street SE) and receive a complimentary Rita’s Italian Ice.
