Do you love books, your community schools, and a good dinner with friends?
A Literary Feast is looking for a few good homes willing to open their doors and share good cheer and good food for a good cause on the night of October 27.
Presented by the Capitol Hill Community Foundation, the Literary Feast festival consists of more than 35 book-themed dinner parties held in homes across Capitol Hill on a single evening.
Each dinner features food and fun related to a specific book. Reading is optional — the emphasis is on dinner.
Proceeds from the Literary Feast support the Capitol Hill Community Foundation’s Grants to neighborhood schools. In 2016, grants totaling more than $140,000 were given to fund special projects and programs for our school children.
